My first rag quilts were made for my twin nephews. I didn't want my first rag quilt to just be a typical 6 inchs square quilt. So I saw a pattern online with varied height blocks. So the finished blocks are 3in, 6in, and 9 inches tall. I also stitched with a 1 inch seam allowance. Of course I was constantly on the phone with my Quilters Anon. Sponsor. Of course they must both also include labels which my sponsor totally believes in and now I am too a believer. She also made me a believer in borders for rag quilts. These borders are in the same pattern just one in blue and one in green.

Great job!! Now you need to put your link on the bottom of you e-mails as a signature so that every time you e-mail someone they are directed to your blog. That way others go to your blog.
